New Horizons
In this four-track EP Hidden Frequency continues to produce the modular synth sound heard on ‘Voice of the Machine’. These tracks are more like performances that are captured live with minimal editing.
Voice of the Machine
Voice of the Machine is the fourth album and the first modular synth album. Recorded solely with modular synth setup. Musically and stylistically this album continues the atmospheric and experimental sound heard in earlier albums – with a touch of techno.
Wave Patterns
Third full length album from Finnish producer Kimmo Koivula is packed with atmospheric soundscapes, radical rhythms and deep grooves. Musically and stylistically this album continues the genre-blending, hardware-driven and experimental sound audible in the earlier albums, but this time there is more glitchy, bit-crushed and lo-fi elements present. The album is inspired by Douglas Adams’ novel ‘Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency’. All the track names, along with the album title, appear on the book.
The Fifth Element
The Fifth Element is the second full length album from Finnish producer Kimmo Koivula. The album continues where the debut, Imaginary Time, left off – downtempo rhythms with atmospheric soundscapes, chilled grooves, odd time-signatures and electric guitars.
Imaginary Time
Imaginary Time is the debut album from Finnish producer Hidden Frequency. The album is a fusion of electronica, downtempo, idm, chillout, ambient, drum & bass, post-rock and experimental music. With heavy reliance on hardware synths and electric guitars, the album takes listeners to an interstellar journey through atmospheric soundscapes, beautiful textures and chilled grooves.
